Amphora produced a series of allegory vases for different countries. I believe this one is for Germany. The artistry is superior, as well as the color and workmanship. Signed both Amphora and R, St. & K, one of the best companies. 7¼" tall x 5½" diameter. Mint condition.

Amphora, Art Nouveau Figural Vase
What a super example of Amphora ceramics at its Art Nouveau best. It really doesn't get better nor more Art Nouveau than a beautiful maiden surrounded by iris flowers, a dragonfly and a spider web. You would expect a huge, 21" example to have some restoration, but even on close inspection, there doesn't appear to be any. Apparently unsigned, but obviously Amphora. For the best collections.

Amphora, Art Nouveau Vase
Wow! Isn't this vase gorgeous? It's the epitome of Art Nouveau with maiden's busts, spider webs and flowers. Great size at 14"! The wooden stand was only for illustrative purposes. The vase has great signatures on the underside, both Amphora and R,St&K. Great condition with the exception of a few chips on the tips of some of the flowers, which I've had professionally restored. (The photos were taken before restoration, so you can see one of the chips on a flower tip.) This is a killer vase for the best collections.

Amphora, Dragon Vase
I bought this vase in Europe, supposedly in perfect condition, but it's not. There is a 2" hairline crack extending from the foot rim up. It's very difficult to see, but it's there. It was too expensive to ship back to Europe, so I'm selling it as is. It's a bargain for a wonderful Amphora dragonvase that's worth $3,000, if perfect. Beautiful work, color and detail. 7½" tall. Signed.

Amphora, Octopus Vase
Everybody want monsters and creatures on their Amphora vases. So here you have it -- a really great Octopus with incredible design, workmanship and color. Nice size at 9" tall. Signed underneath. Mint condition. (There is a partial fingerprint, underglaze, on the nose of one octopus face, original from the day it was made. Actually that's pretty cool. I'm only mentioning it for accuracy.)

This is such a pretty example of Amphora pottery, with gorgeous, realistic orchids. The colors are bright and fresh. It's a very nice size at 7¼" tall x 13¼" wide. Lots of numbers underneath and a signature I don't recognize, "Rusm". Excellent original condition.
