Clocks are one of the best items in any Tiffany desk set pattern. This rare clock is in the American Indian pattern and only the second example I've owned over many years. As usual, the mechanism is by Chelsea, one of the best American clock makers. The key is not original, but looks good with this pattern. The finish is called statuary bronze doré, which is an original acid-speckled finish, halfway between the patina and the gold doré finishes. The mechanism is not presently working and should go to a competent clock restorer. My price is very fair and includes the fact that the mechanism is not working.
